TRN IM1 (Original): Reminiscing A Kvlt IEM.

Hello and welcome to another recap review of one of my previous collection,The TRN IM1 Original. One of best matured U/V-shape tuning on its price.TRN IM1 is one of my longest serving daily drivers, I'm using it for over 2 years as it very versatile to all genres that I'm listening too.It is has set up of 1 Dynamic Driver (8mm driver) and 1 BA(possibly a customised 30095 by TRN).Its UIEM style shell is made resin on base part and metal faceplate with embedded TRN logo, which has a striking resemblance of more expensive IEM from TFZ, The Secret Garden which is over $100 .it is actually has a good built (Note: I have encounter some QC issue on the peeling of protective resin shell in the metal faceplate then metal face plate itself that really looks like a guitar pick after 2 years due to soften up the adhesives, possibly a climate and body acidity factor.)Its comfort and fitting in my ear is actually great. It really snuggly fit and sits well in my ears due to its UIEM design

The LOW/BASS is really good in this unit, It has very deep punchy one with good texture one on the midbass part which contribute with its impactfulness,The sound of drum kicks sounds surreal and life-like, I really how they present the double bass prowess of Dave Lombardo of Slayer and Gene Hoglan of Dark Angel. The Bass Guitar is detail enough to feel the masterful fretless of Steve Di Giogio of Sadus and slaps and licks of Flea of RHCP and Les Claypool of Primus. There some  hint of mid bass bleeds on mids on some tracks particularly in Californication album of RHCP.

The MIDS are more in warmish as it is more textured and full-bodied.The presentation of vocals are more forward on females while more in at middle on male vocals. The instruments sounds such as violins, acoustic guitars and piano is sound very coherent and present even percussions instrument sounds vivid, they are still on clarity and crispness that midcentrics will consider to try them up.

The TREBLE region is on bright side, presentation of micro details is commendable and sparkling one but somewhat just average airness range on brilliance part.Cymbals strikes are more on safer side, at least it wasnt splashy in my hearing perception.I can say it as is sound as transparent as intended to sound more natural

It has an above average SOUNDSTAGE but has excellent depth on it.The IMAGING is faily good as you feel the smooth panning of the instruments around your head from left to right.

I still consider this IEM as one of the best and still have a good reminisce on having a good time with it.I gave it to a friend a few months ago  along with its upgraded controversial "Oreo" cable which I know that he will take care good on it.
