KINERA FENRIR: A Worthy Storage Case

Image
Fenrir is a great monster of Norse mythology, he was an offspring of Loki , God of trickery and deception and Angrboda , The Giantess.  He takes a form of a giant wolf and it was foretold that he will be the one who will kill Loki in Ragnarok and before that it will happened, he was bound by mystical chain that was forged by dwarves  We, the portable audio enthusiasts, focus on audio gears on how we enjoy our audio hobby, we forget another important aspect, on how we will store them properly. Most of us rely on stock accessories for storage but their sizes of IEM storage cases are variable from simple  small burlap sack cloth up to the large pelican case. But there is an audio company that is somehow paying attention to this matter, and it is Kinera.  We already know Kinera as an audio brand as they offer some of the gorgeous looking sets out there but this one is very different. CELEST PHOENIXCALL: Migration Towards Innovation

Image
Avian migration is one of nature's wonderful phenomena as some species of migratory  birds are doing some long distance flyway by following some specific travel path either in regular and irregular patterns due to seasonal changes as it is also their indicator for breeding and finding new feeding grounds. The scene of flocks of divine birds that are heeding the call of Fenghuang, the divine nine-headed Phoenix is quite astonishing to visualise on how these birds were doing while they are migrating towards the deep forests of southern mountains. This scene was inscribed in The Classic of Mountains and Seas which was an ancient Chinese myth composed of 18 sections which was allegedly written around the early Han dynasty era. This is actually my third review on a  Celest Audio  product, I already introduced the  Celest Audio  from my previous reviews as they are known to be  Kinera  and  QoA's  sister company.  Celest Audio  takes some...

QOA GIMLET: Tonally Tangy and Balanced One

Image
Gimlet is a cocktail drink made up of mixed lime cordial and a gin. This drink is usually served straight up by bartenders. (I have some few stints as an assistant bartender before) It seems that this sister brand of  Kinera  has a fixation on naming their products based on cocktail drinks with their models like  Vesper, Adonis, Margarita, Mojito  and  Pink Lady .  QoA  or  Queen of Audio  has been establishing themselves with some of their products gains more attraction from audio enthusiasts and audio professionals due its aesthetics and specific tuning. What I have here right now is their model,  QoA Gimlet  as I mentioned it on introduction. This set has a single dynamic driver set-up and its transducers has a 10mm LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) diaphragm on its dynamic driver. The sturdy and firm properties of LCP delivers more detail, less distortion and faster transient speed on its sonic performance. These drivers were encapsu...
