LETSHUOER D13: Dynamic Entry

Image
We in the audio enthusiasm sphere sometimes need some fun, relaxing and enjoyable listening sessions rather than some usual, serious audiophiliac critical listening to determine the best possible sound reproduction and appreciating both a high technical performance and a high fidelity experience from an earphone or headphone. To be honest, critical listening is an intensive mental process as we try to figure out everything about high fidelity and sound quality. And I'm no stranger on large dynamic drivers on IEMs as I owned some of them and already quite familiar on how these drivers performs depends on its implementation. This is my actually 3rd product review from  LETSHUOER . I have tested some of their products and all of them are hybrid drivers set-up. And this is my first time to experience a sound quality from their IEM with single driver set-up. This is  LETSHUOER D13 , it has a single 13mm dynamic driver with high-grade neodymium magnet and a DLC diaphragm to deliver a cle

TANCHJIM TANYA DSP: A Convivial Device

Tanya, Tanja or Tania is a diminutive form of Tatyana (Tatiana) which is a female form of Tatianus. Tatianus means "Honourable" in ancient Italic/Latin words. Tanya is one of the most popular and recognisable female names in most regions of Eastern Europe, especially on Slavic and Baltic people. This is my first review on a  TANCHJIM  product and this is quite different compared to most in-ear and earbuds product reviews that I have published here as it has an unusual and interesting set-up. This is my first review on an earphone with built-in DSP but I already tested a product before with the same set-up but I'm not keen on publishing a full review on it, just some impressions on social media with assorted views on it.   The brand  TANCHJIM  have a good reputation in audio community and also garners a lot of followers due to its legendary product, The TANCHJIM Oxygen which continues to be receive some pundits to this day due to its impeccable tonality with good technical

CVJ TXS: REDEFINING THE BUDGET SEGMENT

Image
Oi! Audio enthusiast mates, What I have here is another product review from  CVJ , and this is their latest ultra-budget budget IEM,  CVJ TXS . If you are a frequent visitor of my blog page or reading some of my reviews on Head-Fi, you are already aware of my product review articles of  CVJ  products and it is quite plentiful. What makes  CVJ TXS  quite unusual compared to its most competitors in the same price bracket was its tuning toggle switches which give a different flavour on its sound profile. Tuning switches on ultra-budget to entry-level IEMs will be a trend this year and some audio companies are slowly adapting it to give even more options to budget conscious audiophiles. CVJ TXS  has a single 10mm, dual chambered dynamic driver with a possibility of PET material on its diaphragm. It was housed in an opaque, solid polycarbonate plastic shell chassis with a peculiar form factor. It has this stylised triangular epaulette-like design on its face plate. There are two toggle swit

SIMGOT EW100P: THE FEISTY ONE

Cookie cutter sharks are small species of sharks that its way of feeding is to suck and gouge up some flesh from its unsuspected prey or host with its circular suction mouth with band saw-like set of teeth. I did a review on a  SIMGOT  product before and it was the  SIMGOT EA500 . I think that it is one of the best entry-level single DD IEMs that was ever released and I still enjoy using it in my casual listening session. What I have here right now is  SIMGOT EW100P , this is  SIMGOT's  current ultra budget model that will compete with some of the best in the entry-level audio market segment. It has 10mm dual chambered with LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) diaphragm to provide better dynamic, more solid audio output with good transient response, faster driver performance to avoid excessive distortion and to achieve a more cleaner sound. It has a composite shell chassis made up of an opaque polycarbonate plastic on its cavity base and an aluminium alloy on its teardrop-shaped face plate
